What would you do with a chance to revisit your childhood? Would you embrace what you find? In Dance With Me, Helix is asked to return to their childhood home and sort through their late mother’s belongings, right when their dance team is gearing up for a major competition. What follows is an emotional journey filled with discoveries, surprises, and over a dozen powerful dance numbers set to a mix of classical pieces and contemporary hits. Experience this intimate story as told by two distinct casts:
Saturn Cast: Hailey Bender (she/they) as Helix, Lexi Warden (she/her) as Ari, Elizabeth Dilley (she/her) as Mom, plus Natalie Wingerter, Mikey Dela Cruz, Brenda Powers, Carlos Roman, and Renni Elliot. Performs Aug 1, 2, 11, 15, 16, 21 at 7:30pm, and Aug 3 at 2pm.
Jupiter Cast: Trystan Allys-Miranda (he/him) as Helix, Franco Weaver (he/him) as Ari, Lauryn Chavez (she/her) as Mom, plus Madison Wright, Nina Tran, EJ Bergevin, Drew Limpasuvan, and Anneliese McGregor. Performs Aug 8, 9, 19, 22, 23 at 7:30pm, and Aug 10, 16 at 2pm.
