Dance With Me was the latest dancical* from Dare to Dance Seattle and writer/director Zheng Wang. Imagine a heartwarming coming-of-age journey, a queer rom-com, and a fun dance contest, all woven together with a dash of fairytale magic… and you get the emotional powerhouse that is Dance With Me. The world premiere production, featuring two rotating casts, took place during August 2025 at Seattle’s historical Theatre Off Jackson.

(* Dancical: a play where actors break into dancing, instead of singing like in a musical.)

SYNOPSIS: What if everything you thought you knew about your childhood was wrong?
